My name is Dopey and I am a French Bulldog.

I was born on march 7, 2004 and died on July 26, 2010.

My boss didn't get me from a dog-breeder but from a family that bought me from a breeder. That family had a baby who was allergic for animals. Bad luck for them but lucky for me and my bosses I've only reached the age of 6 years. On July 23, 2010 we were all walking when I suddenly collapsed. My left front leg was paralyzed. My bosses took me to the vet and I got medication. Saturday I could only move my neck.  I could not  urinate and defecate anymore . I went 2 times a day to the vet to get a cortisone injection and  a catheter to get rid of my urine. On Sunday I had a lot of pain and there was absolutely no improvement. I probably had an acute neck an back hernia, and the prospects for a happy and pain free life were almost nil. On Monday came Natasja,  and my family, in consultation with  the veterinarian decided to let me pass away. Of course everyone was very, very sad, but I too believe that it was the best thing to do.
